How does it work?

After you submit the inquiry form, you will have a chance to schedule a discovery call. This call gives us a chance to chat for 15 minutes to see if we would be a good fit and to answer any questions you have.

At the end of the call, we'll schedule a time to meet either in person or virtually.

You will then have an opportunity to provide more information about yourself through my client portal before we meet. You will also be prompted to read through and sign my Practice Policies and Informed Consent at this point.

Plan for us to meet weekly, at least for the beginning of our work. Meeting weekly provides momentum and also accountability for you to stay engaged in and prioritize this work together.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost of sessions?

The cost is $150 for a fifty minute to one hour session.

I'm empathic to financial constraints and offer sliding-scale, reduced rates when necessary.

Do you accept insurance?

I am currently not in network with any insurance providers.

What age range and population do you work with?

I see individuals  aged 13 and up and work with all genders, sexualities, and races.

I identify as a heterosexual genderqueer male and use he/his/him pronouns. My race and ethnicity is White American.

How are parents and caretakers involved in adolescent therapy?

From research and experience, I believe adolescent treatment is most effective when the family unit is involved. It is not uncommon for me to meet periodically with the adolescent and parent(s) present, however if the primary reason for treatment is conflict between the adolescent and caretakers, I will refer to a family therapist.

I will always advocate for parents to see a therapist additionally if I am working with an adolescent.
