Mental health therapy can help reconnect with yourself, your body, your relationships, and your world.
You're left with an empty feeling, scrolling on your phone as time melts. Billions of interactions and possibilities at your fingertips and still loneliness.
Maybe digital life has helped in the past; you've found places where you've felt accepted or at least invisible. Perhaps it was necessary because the world around you was too chaotic, overstimulating, or reliably painful. Maybe you were forced into it during the pandemic and are now struggling to truly get back into the world.
The truth is, centering our life online can worsen anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, and feelings of loneliness. You might need some support to help you find more balance in your life and help you reconnect to yourself, others, and the world around us. I can help.
And I'm so glad you're here.
I work with individuals to integrate past experiences, finding meaning in the present, and explore the distant futures and worlds you've only dreamed of.
I believe in your ability to live the life you want and deserve.
Everyone's journey in and out of therapy is unique and deserves a response tailored to your needs. Sessions may include:
Research has shown time and time and time again that the largest predictor of treatment success lies in the therapeutic alliance. I always prioritize honest communication, respect, safety, collaboration, and your self determination.
"I had huge amounts of stress and trauma during our time together which is all gone or transformed into something that I understand and I can live with. I know myself better now and understand people around me and I have a new perspective of mental health which has helped me tremendously in many aspects of my life. Thank you Will, you are a great person and I'm happy I found you."
"Will went above and beyond understanding my concerns and big problems I had. He answered calls with me when I had trouble and I will be forever grateful."
The cost is $150 for a fifty minute to one hour session.
I'm empathic to financial constraints and offer sliding-scale, reduced rates when necessary.
I am currently not in network with any insurance providers.
I see individuals aged 13 and up and work with all genders, sexualities, and races.
I identify as a heterosexual genderqueer male and use he/his/him pronouns. My race and ethnicity is White American.
From research and experience, I believe adolescent treatment is most effective when the family unit is involved. It is not uncommon for me to meet periodically with the adolescent and parent(s) present, however if the primary reason for treatment is conflict between the adolescent and caretakers, I will refer to a family therapist.
I will always advocate for parents to see a therapist additionally if I am working with an adolescent.
